Turkish FM submits to UN ratification on optional protocol to anti-torture convention

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Tuesday submitted to the UN Turkey's ratification paper on the Optional Protocol to the UN Convention Against Torture, AA reported.

Davutoglu submitted the ratification paper to Patricia O'Brien, under-secretary-general for legal affairs and United Nations legal counsel, in a ceremony at the United Nations headquarters.

After the ceremony, Davutoglu was set to meet Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati
