
Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze will pay a working visit to New Zealand, the Republic of Fiji and the Commonwealth of Australia on Sept.28-Oct.6, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.
This will be Vashadze’s first visit to the Pacific Rim, the goal of which consists in developing bilateral and multilateral relations between Georgia and the countries of this region.
During his visit to New Zealand, Vashadze will meet with his New Zealand counterpart, Mr. Murray McCully, in Oakland.
Mr. Vashadze will meet the Australian Foreign Minister, Mr. Kevin Rudd, in Canberra, and Mr. Vashadze is also due to meet Fiji's Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, Mr. Inoke Kubuabola, and other members of the Fijian government in the capital of Fiji, Suva.
