The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) remains in the bypass railway construction project in Tbilisi. But the project will have other financiers, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Vera Kobalia told media.
However, she has not specified who will be the new financier of the project. The construction of a bypass railway is planned to be launched in 2013. Its budget amounts to 170 million euros. The EBRD was to allocate about 100 million as a loan.
Earlier, Georgian media reported that the Georgian government intends to annul the agreement with the EBRD.
