President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili visited on Monday a new hospital PSP in Ortachala district in Tbilisi. He was accompanied by Minister of Health Andria Urushadze, who informed of the conditions and services at the new hospital.

The President was interested in the insurance system, about which he was told that insurance will cover emergency surgery. He looked at the dining-room of clinic and inspected the menu and asked English patient, who was examined, a few questions.

"A living example of medical tourism sits here," Saakashvili said. He said investors and the best Georgian specialists have created such clinics, which previously could only be dreamed of.

"You saw that foreigners started coming to treatment here. We have highly qualified specialists, and for us the important thing is that the treatment would be available to all citizens of Georgia," said the President.
