French president to visit Georgia

French President Nicolas Sarkozy will pay a visit to Georgia in a month, French Secretary of State for Transport Thierry Mariani told Georgian journalists in Tbilisi.

He did not disclose any other details of the French president’s upcoming visit.

In early August 2011 some foreign media outlets reported that in October Sarkozy will visit the South Caucasus - Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Nicolas Sarkozy visited Georgia as the French president in September 2008.
