Iran rules out US allegations about country's support to terrorism

Iran has called US allegations that Islamic republic support terrorism as ridiculous, IRIB quotes Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast as reporting.

"Islam republic of Iran is the biggest victim of terrorism and constantly pays special attention to cooperation with international community in combating terrorism," he said.

He stressed that US support to Israel indicates the country’s support to terrorism.

United States has accused Iran of supporting Hamas, which uses terrorist methods including suicide bombing. Meanwhile Islamic Republic says accepting members of opposition groups and militia by West indicates double standard to the issue.

Western countries accuse Iran of supporting armed rebels in Iraq and Afghanistan.
