25 August 2011 [12:51] - TODAY.AZ
The president of "Erebuni" futsal club was arrested in Cyprus on charges of fake documents, News.am reported.

The team returned to Yerevan several days ago after taking part in the qualifier of European Cup. However, President Arman Ayvazyan was arrested on charges of fake banking cards in Cyprus. The Cypriot Embassy in Armenia confirmed the information in an interview with Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper.

It is not ruled out other Armenian citizens are also involved in this case. The representatives of the Armenian Football Federation consider the incident as a private one, which has nothing in common with football. It is noteworthy the employees and players of the club have switched off their phones within the recent days, the newspaper reads.
