The Armenian and Georgian foreign ministers discussed the prospect of holding official governmental meetings while in Salzburg. As the Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend, the meeting was held during the Aug. 17-19 Salzburg annual international conference on the global economy.
During the meeting, Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze and his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian discussed possible dates for mutual visits between their presidents.
The sides discussed a wide range of bilateral relations. As the Georgian Foreign Ministry said, the ministers also discussed the situation in the South Caucasus region, specifically addressing regional stability and security.
