Turkish Minister of Transportation, Binali Yildirim, inspected on Sunday the Ankara-Konya High Speed Train (YHT).
Conducting the train, Yildirim said that YHT trips between the central Anatolian provinces of Ankara and Konya would officially begin on Tuesday with a ceremony.
"Passengers can begin their trips between Ankara and Konya at 07.00 hours on Wednesday," Yildirim said.
The train trip between Ankara and Konya will take 1.5 hours.
The distance between Ankara and Konya is about 309 kilometers.
The YHT has a passenger capacity of 411 seats. 356 of the seats are "economy class" while 55 are "business class".
Economy seats cost 25 TL while business seats cost 35 TL.
