Russian soldier reported dead in Armenia

A conscript from the Russian town of Saratov is reported dead in Armenia, according to the Russian news website Vzglyad Info.

The soldier's mother has told website that her son had died on August 10, Tert.am reported. She said she had learned about it from the social networking site Odnoklassniki.ru, and got an official report only a day later.

The report said Galezhman Subekerov had died during military drills.

"The moved to Armenia to participate in military drills. He fell down while jumping over an entrenchment and broke his neck. Several soldiers jumped into the entrenchment but did not manage to rescue him. I have talked to witnesses. They said my brother fell down himself, so bullying is out of the question," the soldier's brother, Dmitry said.

Subekerov served in a military unit in Vladikavkaz town.
