RF, Iran coordinating time and format of Busher NPP launch

Russia and Iran are coordinating the time and format of participants in the forthcoming ceremony of official commissioning of the Busher NPP, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabov told Itar-Tass on Thursday.

"Everything is under the process of coordination with the Iranian side," the diplomat stressed. "Without achieving a full agreement on the time and format of participants, and events which may be held simultaneously with the official commissioning of the facility, we have nothing to announce so far."

Earlier, Iranian officials said that the probable commissioning of the Busher NPP may be held in late August. At present, switching of the station to the Iranian energy system is being tested.
