Strong fire occurs on oil pipeline in Iran

A strong fire took place on a pipeline owned by the National Iranian South Oil Company near the Shush Danyal town in the Khuzistan Province on Friday morning, Iranian /naftnews.net/ website reported.

The oil pipeline, affected by the fire, transported oil extracted from the Galanar oil field in the Lorestan Province to Karun Company’s oil refinery in the Ahvaz city.

A Crisis Committee was created to extinguish the fire. Firemen and operation groups are involved in extinguishing the fire at the scene.

According to preliminary data, no dead and injured are reported as a result of the fire.
