Ilia II: Georgian important issues to be discussed at meeting with Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia

Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II, accompanied by the Georgian clergy went on a visit to Kiev.

His Holiness has made comments to the press at the Tbilisi International Airport. He stressed that he will meet with the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill in Kiev. They will discuss the key issues for Georgia.

The patriarch will participate in the commemoration of the anniversary of Russia's Baptism. During his visit he will meet with Ukrainian President and Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada. Georgian and Russian Patriarchs will meet in the Kiev-Pechora monastery tomorrow.

Ilia II's visit to Ukraine will end on July 30.
