Iranian nuclear scientist assassinated

A prominent Iranian nuclear physicist has been assassinated by unknown terrorists, informed sources with the Iranian police say, Press TV reported.

The assailants who were riding a motorcycle attacked killed Daryoush Rezaie, 35, in front of his house in eastern Tehran on Saturday afternoon, ISNA reported.

His wife sustained injuries following the attack and was immediately transferred to hospital.
