Iranian Supreme Leader gives general directives to create jobs

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Tuesday outlined general directives to create jobs and bolster national economy, IRNA reported.

The Supreme Leader communicated the directives to the heads of three branches of government, the chairman of the Expediency Council and the secretary of the Guardian Council.

The Leader's Office said that the directives have been drawn up in consultation with the Expediency Council.

The directive calls for promoting domestic products and every individual must prefer the domestic products to foreign goods as a national value.

The Supreme Leader said that the education system must keep up with the up-to-date technology and help the students at high school and academic levels acquire the skills needed to advance science and technology and upgrade quality of the domestic products.

The directive calls on the government to help the enterprises in the private sector boost their output capacity and hire skilled workers.

The directive calls on the government to help the small industries in the private sector to grow up to the extent they would need extra skilled workers and technicians.

The Supreme Leader called for boosting tourism and transport industry including shipment and transit of goods from the neighboring countries.

The Supreme Leader assigned the government to make arrangements with foreign countries for Iranian high skilled young technicians seeking jobs abroad.
