Turkish company interested in construction of Merisi hydroelectric power station in Georgia

Turkish company Ozguclu Energy expressed interest in the construction of the Merisi hydroelectric power station on the River Akavreti in western Georgia, the Georgian Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources said.

The poll of interest for the construction of this hydroelectric power station in Adjara will be completed on July 15.

The Merisi hydroelectric power station is among the potential alternative energy sources.

The minimum power of the Merisi hydroelectric power station will hit 11.5 megawatt.
