Georgian President's personal photographer and leading agencies' photo correspondents detained in Georgia

Some photographers of foreign publications and a photographer of President Saakashvili have been arrested in Georgia this morning. According to the Georgian media, the personal photographer of Georgia’s President Irakli Gedenidze was detained at 3:00 a.m. His house was searched, and his computers and mobile phones seized.

According to various sources, a photographer of the Georgian Foreign Ministry Giorgi Abdaladze, European photo agency photographer Zurab Kurtsikidze, and photojournalist Shah Ayvazov were also detained.
