Iran to host Economic Cooperation Organization’s workshop

Economic Cooperation Organization’s (ECO) Workshop on Conformity Assessment (Standardization) will start in Tehran on July 18, the website of the Economic Cooperation Organization reported. The workshop will focus on three fields of “Testing and Certification of products”, “Technical Inspection” and “Certification of management system and persons” with the aim to create an opportunity for exchanging of views and experiences for exploring the areas of cooperation and ways of collaboration in ECO Region in line with international regulations as ISO/IEC/17000.

The host will provide accommodation and local hospitality for 3 experts in three technical fields of Conformity Assessment from each ECO Member States.Iran, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are represented in the Economic Cooperation Organization.
