Iran has commissioned a new radar system called Ghadir, the Fars news agency reported.
With the help of the new radar, range of which is 1,100 kilometers on land and height of action - 300 meters, it is possible to detect airborne objects, stealth aircrafts, cruise and ballistic missiles, as well as satellites moving at a low altitude.
The radar was used to detect targets in Great Prophet-6 military exercises. Iran started the exercises on June 27.
On the first day of the exercises, Iran presented a bunker for missiles launched from an underground launcher, and tested the Fateh-10 missile.
