Engineers killed at Tehran refinery

Falling the ruptured crane boom in Tehran refinery left 2 death and 3 injured Tuesday afternoon, Pananews reported quoting National Iranian Oil Company spokesman Aliasghar Hosseini as saying.

"Falling of crane boom during technical test killed two engineers and injured 2 which transferred to hospital," he said.

The incident occurred during NIOC development plan to improve oil products of Tehran refinery. It’s predicted launch of the development plan in Tehran refinery increase production capacity to 2 million liters gasoline per day with octane 90.

Another incident occurred in Bistoon Petrochemical Co Tuesday, however the fire in compressor room extinguished with no report of casualties.
