Armenian government deprives 6500 citizens from their jobs

The Armenian government decided to suspend "Paid Public Services" program conducted since 2004.

The program provided 6500 Armenian citizens with temporary jobs, news.am reported. Director of Shikar region employment center Amalia Adamyan said that 700mln drams, the main part of funds allocated to the program was directed to the construction of roads.

According to her, although many people are interested in this program, its resumption is not considered yet. The program is suspended for an uncertain period.
