Special infectious disease detected in Armenia

The rabbit-fever, which is regarded as one of the special infectious diseases, was detected in two young women in village Mrgaovit of Armenian Lori region, Armenia Today reported.

The state of one of the infected woman was satisfactory. She was discharged while the other infected still remains under treatment.
 
The two women are not related to each other in any way. The source of infection is unknown. The rabbit fever or tularemia generated from bacterium which infects human from ill animal.
