Izmir hosts range of events on 100th anniversary of Turkish Air Forces

The events on 100th anniversary of Turkish Air Forces (AF) started in Izmir city. The Turkish Air Forces’ website reported that European AF Commandants’ Conference will be held today and World Air Forces’ Commandants’ Conference will be held tomorrow within the framework of the events. Air shows will be held with the participation of Turkish Stars and relevant groups from the world’s various countries in the 2nd Air Forces base in Izmir on June 4.

Delegations of Air Forces from various countries, including Azerbaijan are attending the events.

The delegation led by Commander of Azerbaijani Air Forces, Major General Altay Mehdiyev represents Azerbaijan at the conference.

Press service of the Defense Ministry released information that the delegation form Azerbaijan will attend the events.
