Snowfall continues in eastern Turkey

Turkey's eastern Anatolia region continues to receive snowfall as well as rainfall.

Snow thickness at the Palandoken Skiing Center in eastern province of Erzurum reached 120 centimeters on Wednesday.

Temperatures dropped significantly in most parts of eastern Anatolia on Tuesday night and early Wednesday.

The temperature in Erzurum was recorded as zero Celsius degree on Tuesday night.

Local weather departments officials warned the residents to be prepared for heavy rainfall and snowfall and possible floods throughout the current week.
