Ahmadinejad: Enemy seeks Arab-Iranian war in region

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said the enemy seeks Arab-Iranian war in the region, reported ISNA.

"The enemy seeks waging war between nations and governments. It is after Iranian-Arab and Shiite-Sunni battle in the region, whereas the difference is plotted by the US and its allies," Ahmadinejad said on Iranian day of Army as the army started massive parade.

"Iranian army has been turned into the most popular and mighty army of the world," he said.

"Today, presence of our armed forces and army in high seas to protect our ships in the Gulf of Aden and Red Sea showed that our armed forces are determined to apply all of their potentials and play a historic rule."

He added, "today, the front of Arrogance has come to the scene with new image and plots to sow discord between nations and governments in the region to sell its arms more."

"Our armed forces guarantee dignity, peace, security, brotherhood and friendship in the region. Iranian nation and government are close friend of all countries and call for their progress," Iranian President continued.
