Davutoglu: We crossed borders in Oroumeyeh meeting

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that in the first trilateral meeting of Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan Republic foreign ministers, the three sides crossed the borders, IRNA reported.

Speaking to reporters at the end of the one-day meeting, Davutoglu said Orumeyeh meeting was the beginning of joint meetings of foreign ministers of the three countries which will be an important point in the history of the three countries relations.

He evaluated the meeting 'positive' and added that the meeting was an important and historical step in expansion of ties between the three countries.

Davutoglu said the three sides decided on beginning of development of ties in all fields, especially in economic and cultural fields and it can be said that the three countries have crossed borders in the meeting.

He added that the meeting will be held every six month.The Turkish foreign minister also appreciated hospitality of west Azerbaijan governor general and the kind citizens of Oroumeyeh.
