Iran to hold military parade

A military parade will be held on the occasion of the Day of Armed Forces of Iran on April 18 in Tehran, Iranian FARS news agency reported.

The military parade will be attended by all units of the Iranian Armed Forces, the Sepah Corps, Land Forces and Air Forces. The parade will be held in front of the mausoleum of former supreme spiritual leader Ayatollah Khomeini.

On Saturday, the Iranian Air Forces held a rehearsal for the preparation for the upcoming parade. According to information, military aircrafts will carry out flights at the parade. In addition, in-flight refueling of a SU 24 aircraft by another aircraft of the same type will be demonstrated at the parade for the first time.

Iran marks the Day of the Armed Forces on April 18.
