12-year-old schoolboy dies after being run over in Armenia

A 12-year-old schoolboy died in a car accident in Ayntap village, Masis town of Armenia  on Friday.

The accident happened at 8:30 a.m. when an unknown ran over the boy and fled the location.

Mkhitar Hambardzumyan (born in 2002) was taken to Erebuni medical centre, but doctors failed to save his life, photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan said.

The policemen have identified the driver. An investigation is underway.
