Members of the Iranian Culture Commission could not come to an agreement on a draft law, banning to take dogs out for a walk in public places, IRNA reported.
The Iranian parliament discussed the bill to take some pets such as dogs to public places, but Sattar Hedayatkhah said MPs disagreed on this issue. Some MPs were for the ban of taking dogs to public places and imposing penalties, or seizing dogs from their owners. At the same time, some MPs feared it may provoke some speculations in the foreign media.
