Simultaneous blasts occurred on three pipelines close to Iran’s Qum city, the Iranian National Petroleum Ministry’s pananews.ir website reported. The incidents occurred along the 74th km of the Qum-Delijan highway.

The Ministry’s representatives already arrived on the scene and examined the reasons for the blasts.

No information was provided about the cause of the incidents, or about the victims.
Earlier in February, three blasts occurred on the 20th km of the Arak highway close to the Qum city. No one was injured as a result.

According to the representative of the Iranian parliament on Delidzhan and Mahallat cities Alirza Selimi, the blasts today were caused by the blast that took place in February, and they were committed by a "subversive group", the website of the Iranian Parliament icana.ir reported.

The blasts took place on April 8 at 04:00 local time, said Selimi. "A subversive group committed the blast on the pipeline near the Delidzhan city. This pipeline supplies gas from fields located in the south to the northern region," said Selimi.

The blasts have killed no one, but wounded several people, who tried to extinguish the fire. They were hospitalized, added Selimi. The representative of the Parliament did not provide information on to what group the subversive group is referred.
