Honda to reduce production in Turkey on Japan parts shortage

Honda Turkey said Monday that it would scale back its output in Turkey plant due to parts shortage caused by the earthquake in Japan.

Honda manufactures Civic Sedan model at its plant in northwest Turkey.

Honda said it would cut its Civic Sedan production by half after April 11 in relation to inconstant availability of parts coming from Japan.

Japanese manufacturer said it would use this time to improve production quality and train its workers.
