Influenza kills 47 people in Georgia

Influenza killed another person in Georgia, the National Disease Control Center told Trend. This is the third case of death from atypical influenza in the country for 2011.

Georgia recorded 1,112 cases of influenza infection in 2011, including 613 cases of infection with H1N1, 483 cases - Influenza type B, one case - influenza A H3N2 and 15 cases - an atypical influenza A.

The influenza killed 47 people in the country in 2011. Doctors say that the flu causes complications of chronic disease that eventually leads to death.
