Turkey hosts Afghan, Pakistani Soldiers

26 March 2011 [11:46] - TODAY.AZ
Pakistani and Afghan soldiers are in Turkey for a joint training exercise, in an effort to increase coordination in the fight against terrorism, The Voice of America reported.

Friday’s exercise took place in Tuzla, on the outskirts of Istanbul. Officials say the purpose of the training is to share military knowledge and increase coordination between Turkey, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The countries agreed to conduct the military exercise during a trilateral summit in December last year.
