The Georgian resistance movement will hold a rally in front of the Corrections, Probation and Legal Aid Ministry on Friday.
One of the movement leaders, Soso Mandzhavidze, said today the authorities’ repression machine are destroying prisoners.
"We all saw what caused society's passivity - the tyranny of the Saakashvili regime and the deaths of specific people," he said.
"The passivity accelerated their policies of destruction. It is impossible to tolerate it. Passivity is equivalent to treason. Let’s stop the repression and get the illegally imprisoned persons out of prison."
The campaign called "I Am Also A Prisoner" will be held at 4 pm.
