Iran produces bulletproof glass

Industrial Plant "Kave", located in the Iranian city of Sava, produced bulletproof glass, the official website of the Iranian television iribnews.ir reported.

Glass thickness is 25 millimeters. It is possible to increase the thickness of bulletproof glass. Glass layer and a layer of special material have been used to produce this glass. Glass is capable to withstand the fire, shot from a distance of nine meters from a Kalashnikov sub-machine gun and a pistol. About $1 million has been invested to create a production line of this type of glass.
