04 January 2011 [13:06] - TODAY.AZ
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast invited the representatives of the European Union, the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) countries and representatives of diplomatic missions to visit the country's nuclear facilities before the upcoming meeting in Istanbul, IRNA news agency reported.

Earlier on Monday, Iran's representative to the IAEA Ali Ashgar Soltanieh invited the representatives of Russia, China, European Union, as well as developing countries who have friendly relations with Tehran to visit Iran's nuclear facilities, the Associated Press reported.

On Dec. 7, Geneva hosted the next round of talks on the Iranian nuclear issue, which was attended by deputy foreign ministers of Russia, the United States, Britain, China, Germany, France and the EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Catherine Ashton.

The talks resulted in an agreement that the consultations will continue in late January in Istanbul.
