Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay a formal visit to Lebanon on Wednesday.
The visit will take place in November 24-25, 2010 upon a formal invitation by Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri. Prime Ministry Press Center told a statement that Erdogan would have meetings with Lebanese President Michel Sulayman, Lebanese National Assembly Speaker Nabih Berri, Prime Minister Saad Hariri as well as some other politicians.
The statement said a ceremony will be held within the scope of Annual Arab Banking Conference for 2010: The New International Role of Arab Banks, where Erdogan will be given an award.
Separately, Turkey and Lebanon are foreseen to sign Partnership Agreement to establish Free Trade Zone and a Joint Political Declaration envisaging establishment of High Level Strategic Cooperation Council.
Erdogan will also visit Turkish troops assigned within UNIFIL and inaugurate schools and a Rehabilitation Center constructed by Turkey.
