16 September 2010 [12:58] - TODAY.AZ
Speaking at a dinner in honor of participants of the World Leaders Symposium in Istanbul, Turkey's Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Davutoglu has emphasized that protocols signed between Turkey and Armenia would be ratified after the establishment of peace in the South Caucasus, including Azerbaijan and Armenia. For now, the discussions of protocols has been postponed.

Turkey should take control of risks in the region for establishment of good relations with its neighbors, Turkish foreign minister said. As Turkey is a Caucasian, Black Sea, Central Asiatic, Mid-East and Balkan country, all states of the region are expecting constructive steps from Turkey, according to Davutoglu.

Turkish foreign minister also said that economic development is very important for the consolidation of political stability. In his opinion, there must be no obstacles for such projects as Nabucco.
