Turkish minister: Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan most actual suppliers for Nabucco

Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are the most actual suppliers for the Nabucco project, said Turkish energy and natural resources minister Taner Yildiz. The minister said the issue would be discussed at the Summit of Turkic-speaking countries in Istanbul on Wednesday.

“Realization of the Nabucco project is among the key priorities for the Turkish government,” Yildiz said.

“And along with Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan we are continuing negotiations with Iraq,” added the Turkish minister.
