Military servicemen killed in Turkey

The soldiers were killed in a shootout with the terrorists of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK). The wounded soldiers were taken to a military hospital by helicopter.

On April 26, as a result of a mine explosion in north-eastern of Turkey, Turkish army sergeant died, two other soldiers were wounded. A mine exploded when the Turkish military convoy passed over the bridge near the Turkish city of Giresun.
