'Fake Chronicle' by Georgia's Imedi TV to be discussed on Geneva International Consultations

19 March 2010 [14:42] - TODAY.AZ
Fake Chronicle aired by Imedi on 13 March will be discussed on the next round of Geneva International Consultations.
As agency RES reports, co-chairperson of the consultations, EU representative Pierre Moreli stated about it in Tskhinvali.

The EU representative considers that it would be better to discuss the issue within Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism, though this format doesn’t function now.

"Unfortunately this mechanism doesn’t work now. You might have noticed that this report caused very negative response from all sides, in Georgia among them. Details of the case will be discussed in Geneva," Moreli stated.

So called Foreign Minister of Tskhinvali puppet mode Murat Jioev demanded the issues to be discussed on yesterday’s meeting with Geneva Consultations’ co-chairpersons.

Tskhinvali regime also wants preparation of agreement on non-usage of power to be one of the top themes on the next round scheduled by 30 March.

Co-chairpersons of Geneva International Consultations Pierre Moreli, The UN Secretary General’s special representative to Georgia - Antti Turunen and OSCE representative Bolat Nurgliev were in Tskhinvali on March 18.
