Investigation launched into assault on Georgian diplomat

Investigation has already been launched into assault on Alexandre Chkuaseli, First Secretary of the Georgian Embassy in Bratislava, Madona Kikacheishvili, mother of Alexandre Chkuaseli, said.

According to her, the Georgian and the Slovakian sides are conducting investigation jointly.

According to Madona Kikacheishvili, her son has already been discharged from the hospital.

Alexandre Chkuaseli, born in 1979, was assaulted by unknown people near his house last night.

The reason of the assault presumably was robbery. The assaulters grabbed a watch, a key and documents.
