Ireland's President to hold talks in Turkey

After holding talks in Turkish capital of Ankara, McAleese will proceed to northwestern province of Canakkale to commemorate Irish soldiers who died during World War I.
Ireland's President Mary McAleese will pay a formal visit to Turkey upon invitation by Turkish President Abdullah Gul.

A statement by Turkish presidential press center said on Wednesday that McAleese would visit Turkey between March 22 and 26, 2010.

After holding talks in Turkish capital of Ankara, McAleese will proceed to northwestern province of Canakkale to commemorate Irish soldiers who died during World War I.

Irish president will also meet Turkish businesspersons in Istanbul.
