The bill recognizing the so-called "Armenian genocide" will not be adopted by the UK Parliament, Justice Secretary Jack Straw said at the official dinner, where Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan was also present, CNN Turk reported.
According to Straw, the bill is supported by only one of the members of the House of Commons (lower house of British Parliament).
"Neither the British government nor the opposition support this bill. I can assure everyone on this issue. The chance of adoption of this bill equals zero", said Straw.
