Two brotherly countries of Iran and Albania share many commonalities, Ahmadinejad said, adding the two sides can take great measures to the benefit of their nations.
Tehran-Tirana cooperation would help bring about peace and tranquility not only to the two countries but also to the international community, Ahmadinejad added.
Meanwhile, the Albanian envoy said his country is willing to foster cultural, economic and political ties with Iran.
The existing commonalities between the two countries can be a good ground for upgrading the level of bilateral cooperation, he said.
