Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited quake-hit Okcular village in the eastern province of Elazig on Thursday.
A pre-dawn earthquake, with a magnitude of 6, shook mud-brick houses into piles of rubble, killing 41 people in Elazig on Monday. Okcular village was the worst-hit area in the quake.
Erdogan offered his condolences to the relatives of quake victims, and wished speed recovery to the survivors.
Erdogan said that a reconstruction would be made in the region, expressing belief that the residence problem would be solved till Ramadan Holiday (in September).
