Armenia's ex-President met Jacques Chirac in France

Armenia's former President Robert Kocharyan is on a private visit to France, Kocharyan's Spokesperson Victor Soghomonyan said.

On March 9, Kocharyan held meeting with former French President Jacques Chirac, Soghomonyan said.

Asked whether Kocharyan met other officials in France, Soghomonyan replied: “I confirm the information on the meeting with Chirac. No other information is available.”

On March 9, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan arrived on a 3-day official visit to France.

He held meetings with French President Nicolas Sarkozy and other high-ranking officials.
