Georgia's opposition leader launches election campaign

All questions must be answered. People, starting fight, should not have any question, Irakli Alasania, leader of the Alliance for Georgia, has made the corresponding statement at the meeting held in the basketball palace of the Vera park.

According to him, the society has waked up and saw a chance and hope, which was followed by movement. All these were encouraged by my step aimed at unity, Alasania said.

‘Some people were angry, some people reprimanded me. I accept all reprimands, though I should say that unity can not be quickly achieved. The coming elections are very important for our victory. We should persuade people of it’, he said.

According to him, dispute between political parties should end.

‘We should give hope to people that their votes will be confidential as well as protected. Time for endless negotiations has not left. I’m launching a pre-election campaign today’, he said.
