Turkey's exports in February increased 20.34 percent year-on-year according to figures of a Turkish exporters' association.
Exports increased to some 8,227 million USD in February over the same period last year, said Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM), a national union of exporters.
Two-month figures in exports were also up by 16.26 percent to 16,123 million USD, TIM said.
"In February, we reached 23,34 percent, a figure above 20 percent which we have been longing for," said Mehmet Buyukeksi, the TIM's head.
Turkey's exports in 2009 saw a sharp fall of 22.6 percent due to a global economic recession down to 102.1 billion USD, according to figures by TurkStat, the national statistics authority.

The report said foreign trade deficit soared 160.6 percent to some 3.6 billion USD.
