Iranian president calls on governments to be impartial if they cannot stand beside Palestine

01 March 2010 [09:34] - TODAY.AZ
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here on Sunday called on certain regional governments which cannot stand by the Palestinian nation to be at least impartial and not to prevent their nations’ support for the Palestinians.

Addressing the Conference on National and Islamic Solidarity for Future of Palestine, he said that existence of the Zionist regime is an insult to the entire humanity.

It is a well-known fact that the Zionist regime’s mission is threat, violence and war mongering, he said.

Supporters of the Zionist regime who are shouting slogans of human rights and anti-terrorism, support organized crimes of the occupying regime, the president said.

He said that everybody knows that the regime is seeking hegemony over the world.

He said that the Zionist regime is the origin of all wars, genocide, terrors and crimes against humanity and that it is a racist entity not respecting human principles.

"The Zionists do not adhere to any religion. Furthermore they are against the prophets," he said, noting that the Zionist regime was created by the arrogant powers to serve as a base in this sensitive region.

Referring to the viewpoints of the European and American nations and their leaders, Ahmadinejad said that those nations are opposed to the Zionists.

If the governments have any doubt regarding this fact, a referendum, if allowed, will make it known, he concluded.

The two-day Conference on National and Islamic Solidarity for Future of Palestine ended today.
